All our saddles are made on spring trees, from laminated wood. Each tree is made by hand and tested to ensure that it sits evenly on the horse's back. The leathers used are all full-grain and vegetable-tanned to W&H Gidden's exacting specifications. These fine saddles are available in the same colours as our range of bridles, ensuring full co-ordination of all your equipment.
		The W&H Gidden General Purpose Saddle This cut-back saddle offer the rider comfort and security. Large knee-and-thigh-rolls offer good support, and the soft flap insert is designed to allow the rider's leg to sit immediately behind the knee roll. The panel's wide bearing surface evenly spreads the rider's weight. Wool flock is used in the panel, allowing easy adjustment if required. Sizes other than those shown are available to order. The wide seat offers comfort, with its felt panel providing close contact between the rider and the horse. The bearing surface of the panel is wide, providing good weight distribution on the horse's back.
